Renaldo Balkman has joined the national team of Puerto Rico, as announced by the Basketball Federation on Wednesday (14/08).

Balkman accepted the invitation and will return to the national team for the first time since the 2016 pre-Olympics qualifying tournament.

The 35-year-old player will join Emmanuel Andujar, Christopher Brady, Gary Browne, Gian Clavell, Ramon Clemente, Devon Collier, Jorge Bryan Diaz, Alexander Franklin, Ivan Gandia, David Huertas, Javier Mojica, Isaiah Pineiro, Carlos Rivera and Angel Rodriguez, who have also been selected in Puerto Rico’s preliminary squad.
